Dr. Mireku has more than ten years of experience managing allergic conditions. At TexasAllergyMD, she offers preventative, personalized care for allergic conditions. She has a passion for serving families who suffer from environmental allergies, eczema, asthma, and food allergies.
Dr Mireku received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and her fellowship in Allergy & Immunology (Adults & Pediatrics) at the Detroit Medical Center/ Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Dr. Mireku is board-certified through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (FAAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology ( FACAAI).
She also received the DFW Child Magazine Mom-Approved Doctor award in 2016, 2018, and 2023. Dr. Mireku is also the founder of AllergenIQ, a virtual health platform for serving and educating allergy patients.
Dr. Mireku is also a member of the Medical Review Board for Prevention and Good Housekeeping magazines
